Welcome to the RHYTTAC Communities of Practice

Communities of Practice (CoPs) are groups of people in organizations that form to share what they know, to learn from one another regarding some aspects of their work and to provide a social context for that work. (Communities of Practice: Definition, Indicators & Identifying Characteristics, Fred Nickols, Distance Consulting, 2000, http://home.att.net/~discon/KM/CoPOverview.pdf)

This site is a meeting place that provides members of the RHYTTAC CoP with opportunities to participate in discussion forums, member profiles, photo gallery, file storage and more. The RHYTTAC CoP offers subgroups for each grant type: basic center, maternity group home, transitional living, street outreach, rural host home demonstration and rural transitional living/independent living demonstration grantees

We encourage you to upload your photo, complete your profile and participate!  Through your participation you may post questions, stimulate discussion within posts, provide responses to posted questions, and share your knowledge around topical areas to communicate and collaborate with RHY colleagues.  A video below provides a brief 3-minute introduction to Groupsites.  Please take a moment to view it fully. It will help you to become actively involved in making this a productive Membership Group.   We look forward to seeing you within a forum.
